Hi Gemma, I have lots of different coloured bags. It’s ridiculous. I have hardly any free space in my wardrobe. However I have recently ordered a large cream bag from RL. Should I get rid of most of my coloured bags and stick with cream one I have ordered? Do you think I could wear it with anything? Thank you😊

I don’t care for the sets, IMO they almost always look cheap and frumpy. Tone on tone shades of the same color that don’t match exactly look far more interesting and elegant. Wardrobe basics in colors that flatter can look (and be) higher quality and more expensive than they actually are but that royal blue set screams Marks and Spencer at twenty paces. Having disagreed on this one point, I do like your videos and downloads very much and look forward to seeing them.

Love the yellow and I never think of that color. I have a darling vintage Gucci scarf in yellow, beige and a tiny bit of black. I’m going to wear it today with a black and ivory stripe.

I might not have a wardrobe if I took out all of my striped tops. The only look I haven‘t pulled off is with the leopard print-maybe it just isn‘t me. Thanks for all the happy vibes this video brings.

Omg yesterday I took a stroll down the high street in my neighbourhood and saw a couple striped tops that really caught my eye...I ended up buying nothing but I may need to "earn my stripes" soon 😂

I love wearing a white bottom (skirt, trousers or shorts) with most tops. I think it’s so much more chic to wear light on the bottom and darker on top, instead of always black or dark colored bottoms. I think it’s easy to maintain white cotton or linen bottoms, they can always be spot-bleached with diluted chlorine bleach, if necessary, but I rarely have to. Mothers of little children or women with more rugged lifestyles won’t agree, I know.🙂

I have lots of striped Breton tops, too, probably a dozen. They are some of my wardrobe essentials. In addition to classic versions with navy or black stripes on white, I have several other color stripes on white, in my basic wardrobe colors like taupe, lighter blue, light green, etc. I like white, rather than ivory, backgrounds and 100% cotton (or linen, I found a few in this extra-cool fabric this year). I hate Spandex and I think it’s worth paying more for 100% organic cotton or linen that doesn’t contain it. I don’t want to have a Spandex battle getting into and out of my clothes, and I hate being squeezed by my clothing. Knits are naturally stretchy and don’t need any Spandex, brands only use fabric blends with Spandex in them because they’re cheaper than all-natural fiber fabrics. Thanks for styling this staple item for us❤

My favorite way to do contrasting patterns is a striped top and leopard shoes!

Thanks for another great and timely video showing some new ways with stripes, I have many Navy/White in a variety of styles from simple T's to more stylish Jumpers & cardigas plus I also have red/white or red/ecru too I love them all but recently have been changing up to a brown or beige with ecru stripe in Linen & linen/mix.

It's always been my policy to avoid wearing what has become ubiquitous. I used to love the Breton top but now I feel they have become something of a cliche. If they ever go out of favour, you will find me wearing them again!

The last time I wore a horizontally striped top was when Mick Jagger wore his with jeans on TV and in photos. They weren't called Breton T shirts. They were Rolling Stones T shirts.

It’s feeling a little basic, try hard and predictable to me. I did buy one as a joke recently but it’s Dolls Kill Emily the Strange lol I like to edge it up. If I saw anyone wearing this I’d think no original thought, new money trying to look well off. Boring.
